Listening Through Objections
![Page 2: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/2.jpg)
Listening through objections is the Tai Chi approach to dealing
with people’s questions and concerns.
![Page 3: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/3.jpg)
It is void of argument, and therefore avoids leaving the prospect feeling wrong
or stupid.
![Page 4: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/4.jpg)
Your commitment is to hear,
understand and actually feel
what the prospect feels before the issue is addressed.
![Page 5: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/5.jpg)
Honor, but don’t believe the objection.
![Page 6: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/6.jpg)
Actual spoken objections are rarely true,
even for the prospect.
They are the first line of defense conjured up to express
a fear or concern.
![Page 7: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/7.jpg)
Embrace objections;Fall in love with them.
![Page 8: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
Remember, addressing objections successfully is exactly what you
get paid for.
No objection … No sales people.
![Page 9: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)
If an objection creates anger,
frustration or fear in you, you become
unattractive to talk with.
![Page 10: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
Learn to love to hear them.
Become warmer, calmer and more confident as you hear them.
Be more attractive.
![Page 11: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)
Define the objection.
![Page 12: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
What exactly does the prospect mean by their objection?
![Page 13: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
Not enough time.
“How much time do you imagine it will take?”
![Page 14: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
Not enough capital.
“How much money do you imagine it will take?”
![Page 15: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
It won’t work.
“What experiences do you have that lead you to
that concern?”
![Page 16: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/16.jpg)
It’s a pyramid.
“What do you mean by that?”
![Page 17: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)
I can’t sell.
“What do you mean by selling?”
![Page 18: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/18.jpg)
Embellish the objection.
![Page 19: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/19.jpg)
Yes, embellish it.
Help them state their objection even more clearly and
more passionately.
![Page 20: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/20.jpg)
Seek to understand and let them know that …
You Got It!
![Page 21: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/21.jpg)
Purge the objection.
![Page 22: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/22.jpg)
Under every spoken objection is a fear or concern.
![Page 23: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/23.jpg)
Listen and feel for it. Address it in your embellishments.
Keep embellishing until …
![Page 24: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/24.jpg)
They shift.
They laugh.
They physically move.
They lighten up.
They get off it!
![Page 25: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/25.jpg)
The objection is rarely true, even for them.
Everybody can make time by prioritizing.
Most people can get money for something they really want.
Everybody sells things they believe in.
Remember …
![Page 26: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/26.jpg)
All any prospect wants is
to be heard!
![Page 27: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/27.jpg)
feel my fears,
understand them,
respect them,
and then …
Listen to my concerns,
honor them,
![Page 28: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/28.jpg)
Address the objection powerfully
– so –
I can check out whatever it is you are so excited about!
![Page 29: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/29.jpg)
Ask permission to address it.
![Page 30: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/30.jpg)
“If you could prove to yourself how you could succeed in our
business, and avoid that concern, fear or circumstance,
would you take a brief look?”
![Page 31: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/31.jpg)
Address it.
![Page 32: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/32.jpg)
With power, facts and examples;
With success stories and support materials;
With promises you intend to keep;
And do so with candor;
With help from your Upline;
![Page 33: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/33.jpg)
With whatever it takes to do it convincingly
and with integrity.
![Page 34: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/34.jpg)
Step by Step
![Page 35: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/35.jpg)
Them (objection)
“I don’t have time.”
You (embrace it)
Gently smile and relax.
![Page 36: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/36.jpg)
You (define it)
“How much time?”
Them (answer)
“Any time, I’m swamped!”
![Page 37: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/37.jpg)
You (embellish it)
“What I am hearing is that you are already overwhelmed and don’t need
any more projects.”
Them (purge)
“Yes, I believe you got it.”
![Page 38: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/38.jpg)
You (ask)
“If you could prove to yourself that this could fit into your schedule and help
you earn enough for that much needed vacation, would you at least take a look?”
Them (purge)
“Well, of course.”
![Page 39: Listeningobjections](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022070321/558bdeeed8b42a483b8b4623/html5/thumbnails/39.jpg)
You (address it)
If you need more information before addressing it, ask away.
You’ll probably only get one chance to make your case, so make it as
thorough as possible.
Them (answer)
“Where do I sign?”
