Desires: Do Not Want:▪ Trails – for pedestrians & dog walking Community gardens
▪ Loop trails system with markers Active sports
▪ Shelter and picnic tables
▪ Protect Natural area –Flora & Fauna
▪ Provide drop off but not parking
▪ Natural Play grounds
▪ Adult Fitness
Stakeholders Meeting Discussion points
▪ The park will be good for the neighborhood in providing a safe place for children to play and neighbors to meet and interact
▪ Like the drop off area but don’t want it to turn into parking
▪ Need to improve pedestrian access to site – especially at Applecross Ln.
▪ Concerns regarding security. Park rangers and police will patrol the site. Neighbors should report illegal or suspicious activity.
▪ Concerns about night time use. Park hours are dawn to dusk. There will not be any lighting.
▪ Concern regarding edge treatment at Gores and Stoners properties.
▪ Opportunity for the neighbors to come up with a new name for the park.
