EOSSingle-line Oil System

EOS is the reliable and most economical solution for the oil lubrication of chains. The system is a direct operating, electrically driven, single-line centralized lubrication sys-tem. The system is ideal for machines with chain drives and 12/24 VDC power supply - e.g. agricultural equipment such as balers. A typical industrial application is for packaging machine such as palletizers.

TheEOSmeteringelementssupplytherequiredoilquantityintime-controlledintervalstobrusheswhichevenlyapplytheoiltothechain.

Therequiredmeteredquantityofoilcanbeadjustedtoproperlymatchtheworkingcondition,thesizeandlengthofthechain.Themeteringrangeselectionof0.1,0.3,0.4or0.5ccmprovidesversatilitytoensurethatrequire-mentsaremet.

EOS ControllerFormachineswithoutacontrol-ler,e.g.balersintheagriculturalindustry,Lincolnoffersa12/24VDCcontroller.Theruntimeisfixedat4secondsandthepausetimeisadjustablefrom1to100minutes.ThecontrollerenablesasimpleretrofitinstallmentoftheEOSoillubricationsystem.

Theupperblockhaschannelsthatdirectthelubricanttothechain.Thelubricantisdistributedalongthelengthoftheblockallowingittopenetratethechain.

Thissystemoffersessentialadvantages-theworstofthedirtonthechainiscleanedoff,thechainisguidedandsuppliedwithcontinuouslubricant.Thecontactlubricationhasanextraordinarylonglifethankstohighlywear-resistantplasticsthatareveryrobustandinsensitivetocon-taminationandknocks.

ApplicationsContactlubricationisidealforslowandfastmovingchains(uptoamax.of40m/min).Alltypesoflubricant-fromlowviscosityoiltolubricationgreasescanbeused.Lincolncentralizedlubrica-tionsystemsprovidetheopti-mumlubricantsupply.

QuicklubProgressive System for Grease or Oil for Slow Moving, Small Chains

Chain Lubrication

The Lincoln brush lubrication in conjunction with the Quicklub 203 pump provides an econom-ical entry-level chain lubrication system. The Quicklub range does however offer numer-ous add-on possibilities. As a result, it fulfils all expectations for an easy, maintenance-friendly and high quality lubri-cation system.

Brushlubricationnotonlylubri-catesthecontactpointsofthelinks,butrathertheentirechain.Thepumpsuppliesthelubricanteitherdirectlyorviaaprogressivemeteringdevicetothebrushes,whichevenlyapplythelubricanttothechain.Asaresult,high-viscouschainoilsandlubricantsuptoNLGIclass2canbeeasily,economicallyandreliablyapplied.

Aprogressivesystemcanserveupto100lubricationpoints,thusseveralbrushesmaybeposi-tionedalongthechainstoensuresufficientlubricantsupply.

Optionalsystemmonitoringisofferedwitha203pumpincor-poratingtheappropriatePCBandcorrespondingprogressivemeteringdevices.Additionaloptionsincludelowlevelmoni-toring.

TheCentro-Maticoilsystemoperatesintermittentlywithachangeinpressureandpressurerelief.Acentralizedpumpsuppliestheconnectedinjectorswithoil.Theinjectorsuppliesthemeteredquantityofoilunderpressure(52-69bar)andthemeteringchamberisfilled.Afterthemain-linepressurehasbeenrelieved,thepresetquantityofoilfromthemeteringpistonisforcedinfrontofthesupplypiston.TheLincoln“SL”injectorsarethekeycom-ponentofaCentro-Maticsystem.

PMA 2 Solenoid Pumpwith Squirt Nozzles

The PMA 2 solenoid pump is designed for a contact-free oil lubrication of chains. The exact metered quantity of oil is squirted without air (airless), and without producing an oil mist, while the chain is in oper-ation. The lubricant can also be directly applied via brushes or lubrication points.

CRL 101 – Automated Wheel Flange Lubrication for rails and wheels of cranes and other Rail Vehicles

TheLincolnCRL101usestwolubricationrollersfortheleftandrightflankofthecranerailtoevenlyapplylubricant.

Regularlubricationofrailscon-siderablyincreasesthelifeexpec-tancyofthewheelsandreducesthewearontherailitself.Thislowersrepaircostsandmoreimportantly,reducescostlydown-time.

The system is suitable for all types of cranes that operate on a rail profile according to DIN 536 Part 1 (size A 45 to A 120). It is especially ideal for harbour cranes, as well as overhead or gantry cranes.

Thelubricantsupplytothelubri-cantrollersistypicallyprovidedbyaLincolnmultilinepumptype205andadownstreampro-gressivemeteringdevicetypeSSV6-K.Theindicatorpinonthemeteringdevicecanbeusedtovisuallydetermineiflubricantisevenlyflowing.

Thepumpisavailableindiffer-entratiosandwithanadjustablepumpelement,thusenablingtheexactmatchingofoutputversusrequirement.Asaresult,inmostcasesanelectricalcontrolpanelforthepumpisnotrequired.Thedriveofthepumpissimplyrunintandemwiththatofthecrane’sdrive.

Not all lubricants are suitable for use in centralized lubrication systems. Lincoln does offer an inspection service to test customer supplied lubricant to determine if it can be used in a central-ized system. Lincoln lubrication systems or their components are not approved for use with gases, liquefied gases, pressurized gases in solution and fluids with a vapor pressure exceeding normal atmospheric pressure (1 013 mbar) by more than 0,5 bar at their maximum permissible temperature.

Hazardous materials of any kind, especially the materials classified as hazardous by European Community Directive EC 67/548/EEC, Article 2, Par. 2, may not be used to fill SKF centralized lubrication systems and components and delivered and/or distributed with the same.
