Dear Friends: Last week I witnessed a truly inspiring event right here in our community. I attended the Rally to Support Gun Safety Reform at the Capitol along with thousands of others. The students from Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School spoke with passion and courage after witnessing such senseless horror at their school. As elected leaders, it is our responsibility to do what’s best for everyone we represent, regardless of whether or not they vote for us or donate to our campaign. I believe we can find common ground, regardless of party or perspective, to protect our kids and communities and protect individual rights. I know we have much more in common than campaigns and talking points lead us to believe. From the Rally at the Capitol to the Village Square Town Hall, or from our dinner table to conversations at the grocery store, I'm thankful that so many in our community are willing to engage in civil conversations about tough issues. If there is ever anything I can help you with, please feel free to call me (850) 606-5375 or just email me at [email protected]. You can also find me on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. P.S.
