OPTICLUX

The DHL 109 M diagnosis light is a hand-

held woods light. It is used to identify

fl uorescent foci of skin diseases and

changes in pigment.

SPECIAL SKIN DIAGNOSIS.

MAGNIFIER LUMINAIRES AND UV LIGHTS.

The skin is the barrier that protects the body

against harmful infl uences. Damage caused by

bacteria, fungal infections, viruses or parasites

can result in skin diseases that require treatment.

Woods lights, also called black lights, are typically

used for assessing changes in skin and hair. In

veterinary practices, magnifi er luminaires are also

used routinely to aid in diagnoses or in performing

procedures such as removing foreign bodies or

sutures from the skin.
