Enjoying aMeaningful DayWhether you are seeking a Community Learning Center where daytime activities are driven by what people want despite their ability level, think the community should be a classroom, or want a home-based option such as life coaching to increase self-esteem and skills, we have services to meet your needs.

We help people develop and maintain life skills so they can enjoy a day that is meaningful to them and filled with experiences and opportunities that are based on their interests and passions.

We believe in a person-centered approach – involving those we support and their families in creating a plan that addresses what’s important to them and developing goals based on those priorities and interests. We see life as a team effort and working together as a strength. Partnership is something we value.

Setting Goals Achieving Success Since my brother Joe started attending the Elmhurst Community Learning Center he is calmer and engages in meaningful conver- sations. Each morning he wakes up and says, I am going to have a good day today! The interaction and activities have given him the confidence to know he has value in this world.
