UPDATE The new Residents Parking

Zone for central Headington hasnow officially been approved by theCounty Council. The zone should beput in place in autumn this year.

Following action from Cllrs

Stephen Tall and David Rundle, thepot-holes in Woodlands Road havenow been filled in. The next job willbe to get the whole road re-surfaced!

Only two months ago, Labourvoted down a Lib Dem budgetwhich would have introduced:FREE bus travel for all pen-

sioners;NEW money to help the police

target litter louts, vandals and hoo-ligans; FREE swims for under-16s and

pensioners.To have spent so much money

on just eight benches when thereare so many other needs is scan-dalous, comments Stephen Tall.
