We would like you to create a poster/fact file including:

• What nutrients we need to survive

• How does this compare to other animals? Do they need the same/different nutrients to survive?

• The three different types of skeletons

• What the functions of the skeleton are

WRITING SCIENCE ART MUSIC

Write a non-chronological report about skeletons. Think about: How does it protect us? What would happen if we didn’t have a skeleton?

Research about muscles and write a paragraph about what you’ve learnt. Here are some questions which might help you with your research: What are muscles? Where do we have muscles in our body? (perhaps you could include a diagram?) What is the difference between voluntary and involuntary muscles? You might find this clip helpful: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/z9339j6/articles/zpbxb82

Create and label a picture of a skeleton. Let’s get creative!

Create your own version of the song ‘Dem Bones’ song using the real names of the bones. Example: ‘The tibia’s connected to the patella’
