Although your smile has gone,And your hand cannot be touched,

We thank God for precious memoriesOf the one we love so much.

It broke our hearts to lose youBut you did not go alone.

For part of us went with youThe day God called you home.

To know her was to love her, Because from day to day, she brought such happiness to those she met along life©s way. The memories she©s left behind will always linger too, an inspiration and Joy to everyone she knew.

Ms, Marjorle Fair Ruflln departed this life June 26, 199S at the Elsenhower Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia. She was bom December 1, 1939 in Richmond County, Georgia to the late Joe David Fair and Mary Carter Fair.

At an early age, she was baptized at the First Ebenezer Baptist Church, by the late Rev. J. D. Williams. She was a member and Assistant Secretary of the Senior Choir and Secretary of the Church.

Marjorie graduated in 1957 from Lucy C. Laney High School. She attended Augusta Technical Institute, Augusta, Georgia. She was employed at Kendal Company, Augusta, Georgia for 27 years.

Left to cherish her precious memory are: one sister, Mrs. Joyce F. Glover, Augusta, GA; one brother, Mr. Joe D. Fair, who preceded her in death; one brother-in-law, Mr. Charles Glover, Augusta, GA; one adopted brother, Mr. Leroy Bozeman; three aunts, Mrs. Nora C. Nelson, Augusta, GA, Mrs. Alma C. Jones, Keysville, GA and Mrs. Gladys Cambell, Hephzibah, GA; one uncle, Mr. Richard Carter, Hephzibah, GA; four nephews, Mr. Michael, Ronald and Ricky Eberhart and Master Jarvarus Glover, all of Augusta, GA; a number of God-children; a very close cousin and friend, Mrs. Verrell J. Moore; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

The Clock of life 1s wound but onceAnd no man has the power

To tell just when the hand will stop-At late or early hour.

Now is the only time you own!

"I shall pass through this world but once. Any g therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can sho any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defe neglect it. For I shall pass this -way again."

You are sleeping in God©s beautiful garden, Your life is a beautiful memory,

Your absence a silent grief,Of sunshine and perfect peace,

You left a beautiful memory.A sorrow to great to be told.

But to us -who loved and lost you,

I©d like to paint a portrait so beautifulthat the blind could sketchits details from memory.

While I©ve no flair for the grand,I©ll step forth and take a stand Here is my portrait: my hand.

I©d like to write a song so compelling that the deaf could instinctively

hear its lyrics.Though perhaps lacking in style,

I©ll still submit it to trial -Here is my song: my smile.

I©d like to build a highway so straight that the handicapped could all

traverse it with ease. And, while I©m no architect, this one design I©ll erect ~

Here is my highway: my respect.

I©d like to fill the world with such peace that love and Joy would permeate

all its boundaries. And when I take my final nod and

return to the sod, I will still share with you my peace: my God.
