Mum, there is something i need to tell you. I've made up my mind. I intend to become a writer.

Why wouldn't it be ?

A writer can't subsits to his needs. And you are not even sure to succeed.

I know this is risky, but I can't stop thinking about it. What if I have an opportunity (??) of becoming a writer?

I thought you wanted to become a doctor or anything like this, I mean a job better than this and more successful.

Even if you write a novel and become a writer, what are you going to make of your life? You'll just stay home writing your stories, it can't definitely not be successful.

I'm not planning on staying at home and doing nothing of my life! I can keep on studying on faculty for instance or anything that let me some time in order to write!

You're not even listening to me ! You have a bee in your bonnet! Wanting to becoming a writer isn't just about writing, I need to have a lot of knowledge. To continue my studies is no bad for this job.

I'm fed up. Have you ever thought about the eventuality that one day people will no longer read you? What will you do then?

I still can work as a litterature teacher, or nay other job as long as I continue my studies.
