Service to give commands to adjust your Côr thermostat temperature settings, to play music, and to provide

information on news, sports scores, weather, and more - instantly. All you have to do is ask!

WHAT IS AMAZON ECHO? Amazon Echo is a hands-free speaker you can simply plug in, connect Wi-Fi® and control the device with

your voice.

New additions to the Amazon Echo family include the Echo Dot - a smaller, more affordable device. Echo Dot

includes the same functionality but without the big built-in speaker - instead connecting to speakers in the

home over Bluetooth or with an audio cable.

WHAT IS AMAZON TAP? The Amazon Tap is a portable alternative because it relies on rechargeable

battery power and customers must tap the device to use the voice control.

WHAT IS AMAZON ALEXA? Alexa - the brain behind Amazon Echo, Echo Dot and Amazon Tap -

is a voice service that understands queries and commands issued

in natural language, enabling customers to interact with connected

devices in a more intuitive way.

Alexa is built in the cloud, so it continually learns and adds more

functionality over time. The more customers use Alexa, the smarter

it gets and adapts to your speech patterns, vocabulary, and personal

preferences.

WHAT IS THE ALEXA MOBILE APP FOR? The free Amazon Alexa App (Fire OS, Android, iOS and desktop

browsers) provides device setup, remote control, and enhanced features.

Before you begin, you will need to have the following:

To pair the Alexa app with the Côr™ thermostat:

• Côr thermostat• Côr thermostat registered

account (email and password)

• Amazon Echo• Amazon Alexa app• Wi-Fi® connection

PAIRING YOUR CÔR™ THERMOSTAT WITH AMAZON ECHO

Open the Alexa app and Log in using your Amazon account.

Click on Get More Smart Home Skills.

Tap the Menu icon (the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner).

Search for Côr.

Provide your Côr Login information to link the accounts.

You are now successfully linked!

Please note that the Côr™ thermostat must be discovered before it can be used with Alexa.

Select Smart Home from the menu options.

Select Enable.

Select Accept under the Authorize App screen.

Come back to the Alexa app, and select discover devices.

CURRENT ALEXA VOICE COMMANDS FOR THE CÔR™ THERMOSTATThe following voice commands can all be used to control your Côr thermostat with your Amazon Echo. Stay-tuned as we continue to add more voice commands!

Set your Côr thermostat to a specific temperature

“Alexa, set my (thermostat name) to (75) degrees”

“Alexa, set (thermostat name) temperature to (75)”

“Alexa, set (thermostat name) to (75)”

“Alexa, set my (thermostat name) to (75)”

Turn DOWN the temperature a set amount

“ Alexa, lower the (thermostat name) by (3) degrees”

“ Alexa, lower the (thermostat name) temperature by (3) degrees”

“ Alexa, decrease the (thermostat name) temperature by (3) degrees”

Turn DOWN the temperature by 2 degrees

“ Alexa, lower the (thermostat name) temperature”,

“Alexa, decrease my (thermostat name)”

Turn UP the temperature a set amount

“ Alexa, raise the (thermostat name) by (3) degrees”

“ Alexa, raise the (thermostat name) temperature by (3) degrees”

Turn UP the temperature by 2 degrees

“ Alexa, increase the (thermostat name) temperature”

“Alexa, increase my (thermostat name)”
