This learning bundle is continuing with addition and subtraction. Ask your third

grader what strategies are helpful for solving addition or subtraction one-step

word problems. They will also have an

opportunity to explain the flawed reasoning in someone else’s work.

Your child will be using their

understanding of addition and subtraction to solve perimeter problems. They will have a chance to use their understanding

all four operations to solve area and perimeter problems.

Please work on mastering multiplication

and division facts whenever possible.
