LESSON PLAN – READING Jangan lupa edit Date: 28.4.2015 Day: Tuesday Time: 8.20 am – 9.20 am (60 minutes) Class: 3 Enrolment: 23 Focus: Reading Theme: World of Self, Family and Friends Topic: Uncle Peter’s Family Content Standard: 2.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to demonstrate understanding of a variety of linear and non-linear texts in the form of print and non-print materials using a range of strategies to construct meaning. 2.3 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to read independently for information and enjoyment. Learning Standard: 2.2.2. Able to read and understand phrases and sentences in linear and non-linear texts. 2.3.1 Able to read for information and enjoyment with guidance: (a) fiction Objective: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to : 1. In groups, given a reading text, able to read aloud with correct pronunciation and intonation. 2. Individually, given a worksheet, able to answer three out of six correctly. 3.
