The first application solution to combine thefunctions of a fully automated inverted re-search microscope with those of electronicmicromanipulators. Both systems can be operated via the LeicaAM6000 from a clearly designed joint controlbox. We have integrated all the main controlsof the two basic instruments (microscopeand micromanipulator) into one central unitand matched the functions to each other. The result: improved operating safety, redu-ced vibrations within the system and aconsiderable time saving, both for workroutines and for staff training. With the Leica AM6000 there’s no need tokeep switching between controls in future. You have everything in one hand. Move-ments of the micromanipulators arecorrelated to the magnification of themicroscope, electronically.

Operating a transmitted-light base can beso simple: you have a potentiometer avail-able for setting the brightness. The mirrorguiding the light through the specimen atdifferent angles can glide across the hori-zontal plane. The tilt angle of the mirror isthen automatically aligned.

In this way you have full control of thetransmitted light without having to spend agreat deal of time looking for the optimumtransmitted-light angle.
