You will live together in a LEAP residence hall and explore the University Park campus during the quieter summer months. MAKE CONNECTIONS Use LEAP to make new friends and connect with classmates, professors, and academic departments in the summer so you are prepared for the fall semester. GET AHEAD Participate in 2 integrated General Education classes as part of LEAP and get a head start on your course work to build a great foundation for your academic career. Admitted for fall 2018 but want to participate in LEAP? Accept your offer for fall, then contact Admissions at 814-865-5471 to have your starting term changed from fall to summer. Every year, about 1,700 Penn State first-year students begin their college careers by enrolling during the summer session at the University Park campus. More than half of these students choose to take advantage of LEAP, a specially designed, unique learning experience sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Education.
