ATC’s Definition of Critical Thinking: Critical thinking is the open-minded, deliberate, dynamic, and reflective process of collecting, analyzing, evaluating, and applying information in order to reach a reasonable position, decision, and/or plan of action.

If you didn’t like our definition:• Critical Thinking is thinking

about how you think in order to make your thinking better.

• Critical Thinking is problem solving.

• Critical Thinking is thinking outside the box for alternative solutions to life’s problems.
