This project aims to train trainers and teachers in new technologies based a round Smar tboa rd applications so that they in turn can train their students in these technologies in order to improve their employability in the global labour market.

Th rough us i ng t hese new technologies both teachers and students wi l l become more motivated towards teaching and learning and will see the relevance of what they are doing in the c l a s s r o o m t o t h e i r f u t u r e employability.

By linking with local companies and employment organizations the teachers and students will be able to apply their new skills in an appropriate way that will enable these organizations to recruit more effectively locally.

We also aim to reduce the number of teachers leaving the profession and the number of students dropping out of education or who are forced to leave their country to seek work elsewhere.

Furthermore the project involves student mobility to participate in an international competition.

This will develop their awareness of working with other European citizens in a team and of the cultural differences and similarities.

This will further enhance their skills and experiences in preparation for working in organisations which operate within a European or global environment.
