The Ancient Chinese built the Great Wall ofChina to protect themselves from the barbaric

hordes of the north. It was

too high to climb over, toothick to break down, and

    too long to go around.

    Security is supposedly

achieved! But during thefirst hundred years of the walls existence,

    China was invaded three times.

The biblical virtue of integrity points to a

consistency between what is inside and what is

outside, between belief and behavior, betweenour words and our ways, our attitudes and our

actions, our values and our practices (Boa. p.

    Warren Buffett hiring criteria:

    integrity, intelligence, and energy. Hire

someone without the first, and the other

two will kill you(p.9.). This is a clear

talented and energetic the person is, but

missing the personal values of integrity,

worthwhile causes, yet fail to gain

    peoples loyalty because their lives

discredit the validity of their proposals.

When leader live a life of integrity, their

followers assume they are trustworthy to

    lead (Blackaby, H & R. p.107).
