Brijmohan Agrawal Ji plays a key role to make

country more powerful by strengthening the

farmers.

Country will become stronger if

farmers will become stronger and

hence a concrete action

plan must be done depending upon

the interest of farmers.

Traditional farming have to be replaced by modern farming

that is the need of hour, said by Brijmohan Agrawal Ji at

the closing ceremony of National Agriculture Exhibition

Agro Vision 2014.

Brijmohan Agrawal Ji said that the farmers must go

for cash crops to safeguard their future

along with latest farming methods.

He said that large quantity of guava is being sent

overseas from Chhattisgarh. Agrawal Ji emphasized on

the utility of micro irrigation and also said that the

Central government has to increase

the funding on sprinkler

Brijmohan Agrawal Ji advocated for natural farming as

the whole world is accepting it. However, natural farming

will thrive only when animal husbandry is improved.

Agrawal Ji also appealed to the farmers to utilize

solar pumps. He said that micro irrigation facilities

have to be increased by increasing the subsidy and

by preparing a pretty action plan.

He said that Chhattisgarh government has launched

several schemes including Agriculture Farm

Equipment Service Centre for

jobless agriculture engineers.

The project cost is about Rs 25 lakh and the

government will offer Rs 10 lakh. The government has

plans to set up 300 Agriculture Farm Equipment

Service Centers.

Addressing the farmers at the district-level ‘Organic

farming fair’ executed at Gunderdehi, the district

headquarters of Balod, Shri. Brijmohan Agrawal Ji

said that Organic farming is best and lucrative for the

farmers of Chhattisgarh.

The State Government has been making every attempt to

endorse it. With Natural farming,

the fertility of the land remains and as the

crop remains devoid of the use of chemicals,

there is no other possibility of any

damage from them, he added.

Agrawal Ji said, in order to endorse ‘Natural farming’ a

‘Gaushala’ (cow shelter) would be set up in 50-acres of

land in each and every development block, where bio

fertilizer would be made with the cow-dung and its

urine.
