Layout of the Double Page Spread

First, I added the page number and magazine name just like I had done on the contents page.

Just like I added the boxes in the background for the contents page, I thought that I could also use this idea with the double page spread. This would also help link the pages together.

Purple box

Red box placed on top of the purple box

A white box is placed on top of the two coloured boxes so that information can easily be seen.
