FEATURE SPREAD MAGAZINE LAYOUT Procedures: • You are to create a double page spread for a magazine. • Your magazine should be a representation of an existing magazine or an idea that you come up with yourself. Select magazines that are appropriate to a Catholic School’s environment. Size of page should be based on an actual magazine. • The content of the article should be something positive, again appropriate to a Catholic School’s environment. Check with your teacher if you have questions or are not sure what reaction your article or image will receive. • You must create a Title to the article, choose something that reflects with the image and would make the reader be interested in reading the article. Expectations: • Find a suitable high quality picture and change the resolution for high quality printing. • You must have a Headline that matches what the picture/story conveys. • You must have a Call Out or a Sub‐Headline that is either a quote or further speaks about the article. • You should use fonts and colours that match the mood of the image. • You must have Body text can be filled with placeholder text set at 12 points Times New Roman or other easy to read font. • You must have on the bottom of each page, the date of issue and the page number (you decide what this will be) • Get creative and use up the space.
