McNevin sells homes with an expert touch, thanksin large part to her marketing experience.Although her mother worked as a real estate agent,McNevin chose to study marketing instead ofgoing directly into realty. She earned a degree inmarketing from Texas Tech University, andmoved to Colorado to work as a buyer for a skiapparel business. Eventually, she heard her realestate roots calling her name and became licensed.After several very successful years selling luxuryproperties in Austin and then in Los Angeles,where she still holds a real estate license, McNevinreturned to her hometown. “I enjoyed the otherplaces I lived, but they never felt like home,” shesays. “Austin is home. The future is looking strong for McNevin. Sherecently was chosen to speak to a convention of7,000 REALTORS® at Keller Williams’ inter-national conference. Amid all the time and effortshe gives to her career, she still sets aside ampletime to raise money for the Austin Children’sShelter. At the heart of it all, McNevin cares aboutothers.
