The Laurel-Jones County Library

System, Inc. strives to serve our entire

community. We have added several

new sections to our collection. We also

have a great collection of the tradition-

al items that everyone expects to find

in the library. Each item can be

checked out for at least 2 weeks at no

cost to you.

MOVIES: We now have over 3500

movies, including VHS, DVD and

BLURAY.

VIDEO GAMES: We are getting new

games each week. We now have over

200 videogames

EBOOKS: We have a great adult

fiction collection and are working on

our young adult collection. Look for

new titles as we build our e-book col-

lection.

The Laurel-Jones County Library System, Inc. has something for

everyone. When most people think of “the library” they only think

of books, but technology is changing fast . We now have many fea-

tures other than books.

All you need is a valid library card to enjoy the benefits of the

Laurel-Jones County Library System, Inc.

The Laurel library has come a long way since it first began in 1919.

It moved to its permanent home in 1978 at 530 Commerce St.,

Laurel, MS. In 1961, the Laurel-Jones County Library added a

branch: the Ellisville Public Library. It moved to its permanent home

in 2009, at 201 Poplar Street, Ellisville, MS 39437.
