LEASH LAWS FOR HARRIS COUNTY

If your dog is frequently outside in your yard for several hours, please ensure that your dog does not bark incessantly. Noise caused by barking dogs can be a source of stress and impact one's health and relationship with your neighbors. Noise pollution is proven to cause heart disease, high blood pressure, and stroke, is a general threat to health and wellness and impacts the quality of sleep by disrupting sleep cycles. Chronic stress can lower your immunity to all diseases.

Albert Pessarra spends his days helping his neighbors with yard work and other important tasks.

Al Pessarra in the middle of his street, Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, in Houston. Pessarra is the best neighbor anyone could have. He helps folks with their yards, trimming trees and mowing lawns and cleaning out the acorns that accumulate in the street. He’s also a fixture at Tallowood Baptist Church and he loves auctions, bargaining for leftover spoils that might be useful to people in need. But he did a truly special thing for neighbor Barbara DeAinza, soon after she moved in. While walking her dogs, Barbara had a heart attack and Al got her to the emergency room in Memorial City. ImprovementsBecause Laurel Creek is a Deed Restricted Community, any

changes that you wish to make to the exterior of your home must first be approved by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). This includes roofing, decks, swimming pools, fence replacement, painting – even if you are re-painting using the same color, tree removal, door re-staining, etc. For a complete list, or if you have any questions about a planned project, please contact Sterling at 832-678-4500. Exterior Improvement Application forms are available online at Sterling’s website at www.sterlingasi.com.

The ACC members are volunteers who act as quickly as possible to review each application; however please remember that they have 60 days to render a decision. Please do not start any work until you have received written approval from Sterling.

Dear Homeowner,

Due to a hailstorm in your area on December 19th 2014, many homes sustained insurable damage and have been replaced. Blue Ribbon Roofing has already replaced several roofs on homes in your neighborhood with more than a dozen others awaiting construction. Hail damage is a long-term damage, which often doesn’t show its true effects immediately. However, most insurance companies will only cover storm damage within a year from the date of loss. There are many factors that affect whether or not a hailstorm causes damage to a roof such as the condition and the age of the roof. The only way to know for sure is to have a qualified professional inspect and assess the damage.

Blue Ribbon Roofing is a fully insured contractor that has been honored for the last four years in a row by the Better Business Bureau. We also have an impeccable record with the Better Business Bureau with zero complaints and an A+ rating.

Blue Ribbon Roofing is also proud to be one of the less than 1% of roofing contractors in America to attain the coveted Select Shingle Master Company status through CertainTeed. CertainTeed is North America’s largest shingle manufacturer with over 100 years in business. Their materials are pro-duced right here in Texas and they offer the strongest warranty in the roofing industry.

So call us today to schedule your free, no obligation inspection.

Blue Ribbon Roofing won the Pinnacle Award with the Better Business Bureau in 2013 and The Award of Distinction in 2011,2012, and 2014. We also have an A+ Rating with the BBB with 0 complaints
