ABOUT LASALeading Age Services Australia (LASA) is the national peak body representing all providers of age services across residential care, home care and retirement living. LASA National Congress is Australia’s biggest aged service industry event attended by leaders and decision makers across the nation’s age services industry. 

Exhibitor and sponsor numbers have increased significantly in recent years as they look to target the large number of key staff and service providers attending the event from across retirement living, home and community care and residential aged care.

The 2017 Congress will be more dynamic that ever, with industry players keen to meet and discuss new home care reforms, government reviews and the future of government funding as well as innovative ideas for care delivery and new approaches to care models.

Our Congress will speak to providers across the spectrum, from not-for-profits and church groups to the big multinational providers and everyone in between. LASA National Congress is the biggest age services event in Asia Pacific and it’s still growing. In 2016, 1156 people attended and 51% of attendees (close to 600 people) had not attended LASA National Congress before.

That’s a lot of new leads!

These passes cannot be used for representatives of sponsoring or exhibiting companies. These are designed for your clients or guests wanting to explore the exhibition, rather than attending the entire Congress.

Terms & Conditions The Congress hosts will take all diligent care to fulfil the above mentioned Sponsorship and Exhibitor commitments.

Sponsors and Exhibitors are responsible for providing all their requirements i.e. banners, promotional material and any other material within the timelines outlined in their package.

Sponsors and Exhibitors are required to make the necessary payments in full for their Sponsorships and Booths as per the below:

All bookings made within the 2016-2017 financial year are required to pay in full by 30 June 2017, unless approved by LASA Events. All bookings made in the 2017-2018 financial year are required to pay in full no later than 4 August 2017. Any bookings received after 4 August 2017 until the Congress are due within 10 working days from the date of the invoice.

All accounts are required to be finalised prior to the commencement of the Congress.

Sponsors and Exhibitors are responsible for the security of all their equipment and materials while at the Congress.

Sponsors and Exhibitors are to ensure their own insurance covers them while at the Congress. LASA, the exhibition contractor Exponet, and venue, Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre, will not be held liable for damage or loss of goods or equipment while at the Congress.

Contractors

All contractors, including those installing custom are required to provide the following documents and complete the online Contractor Induction by 4 August 2017:• Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS)• Public Liability Certificate• WorkCover Certificate

At the end of the induction each contractor will be given a unique completion code. This code must be quoted at the Security Control Office when the contractor arrives on site, then they must sign in on our Lobby Guard System. Please note that it is compulsory to wear a safety vest and the name tag provided by the Lobby Guard System at Security Control, as well as enclosed shoes.

Exhibitors are required to comply with set up/ removal and trading policies implemented by the venue and LASA. Whilst every care is taken in program content/ structure, LASA reserves the right to alter/substitute components to the event as deemed appropriate. Booths are allocated on a sole entity basis, unless otherwise indicated and agreed to by LASA. Cross promotion is strictly prohibited.

Presentations conducted at exhibition stands are strictly forbidden unless prior approval is provided by LASA and the organising committee.

Public and Product Liability Insurance

It is a requirement of the LASA National Congress that all exhibitors have adequate Public and Product Liability Insurance cover based on a limit of indemnity to the value of AUD$10,000,000 or above. This refers to damage or injury caused to third parties/visitors on or in the vicinity of an exhibition stand. To assist you in locating your certificate within your organisation, it can often be found with the accounts/finance departments and is often referred to as ‘Broadform’.

Cancellation Policy

Upon receipt of a booking form, a 15% cancellation administration fee will be applicable for any cancellations made up until 4 August 2017. For cancellations between 4 August and 6 September 2017, a 50% cancellation fee will be applicable. No refunds will be issued for any cancellations made on or after 6 September 2017.
