copper-enriched stainless steel. Thehorizontal airflow helps to maintainuniform air circulation and eventemperature distribution whensamples are placed in the incubator.

The incubator also features exceptionally low CO2gas consumption for economic operation.

CO2 Control - Faster Recovery & Lower Gas Consumption Panasonic’s large scale cell culture incubator hasbeen designed specifically for critical applications inpharmaceutical, biotechnology and clinicalinvestigation.Large chamber capacity applications require specialconsideration of gas usage and recovery times.Panasonic’s proprietary IR sensor with P.I.D. CO2control algorithm is paramount to the industry’sleading design. An optional inner door system (MCO-80ID) is alsoavailable to enhance these results further.

Humidity Selection and Optional UV SterilisationAs standard, the MCO-80IC offers a choice of normaland high humidity modes for different applicationneeds. For reliability and reduced maintenance thehumidity reservoir heater is located on the outsidewall of the reservoir and is not susceptible tocorrosion or scaling through contact with water. Anoptional auto-fill 20 litre secondary water tank (ModelMCO-80AS) provides an additional water supply to thehumidity reservoir.

Panasonic’s patented and laboratory proven SafeCellUV sterilisation system (option) is employed tosterilise the humidifying water reservoir and helpminimise contamination concerns.
