All of our printed materials (paper, solvents, and ink) are obtained from recycled and sustainable sources and the process takes place within 20 miles of our facility. Any waste accumulated during the printing process gets reintroduced into the recycling stream.

Reducing Office Paper To promote sustainable forest management, SFI Certified paper is used for shipping materials and office administration. We also use inter-office email and e-chat to reduce paper consumption. We have reduced the use of printed catalogs by over 75% by transferring our marketing materials and catalogs to electronicmedia.

LEED-Certified LumberOur products are made of the purest grade of type-2 HDPE recycled plastic - 98% recycled material. Using this material on your products may contribute to your LEED goals under MR 4.1 and MR 4.2. The average Landmark enclosure reclaims over 2300 milk jugs. Ten milk jugs equate to approximately one pound (0.454 kg) of plastic saved fromlandfills. See more on page 4.

Energy ReductionReducing the workweek from five eight-hour days to four ten-hour days allows us to decrease the amount of energy consumed to run our plant and manufacture our goods. Our employees are also seeing a savings through the reduction of energy consumed while traveling to and from our factory less often.

dado slot panelingWith our hidden pocket screw and dado slot construction methods, our products use the most efficient and useful joinery with aesthetic and longevity in mind.

Paneling 5/8 (1.5875 cm) lumber material is used for panels, roof and floorboards.

Framework Load-bearing framework is comprised of 2x4 (1 1/2 x 3 1/2), and true-2x2 (2 x 2) or 2x2 (1 1/2 x 1 1/2) solid HDPElumber.

Door Reinforcement Top & bottom panel door reinforcements (doors take the most beating, hence the additional feature).

Rigidity Full length top to bottom interior panels to separate each consecutive bin. Each panel spansthe entire height of the interiorsections.

Hardware All of our hardware is composed of 304 stainless steel, able to hold up to the elements. Our strategic placement of screws and hardware also prevents warping and holds the products integrity.

Dado Slot Joinery Our panel-to-framework joint connections are constructed using 100% dado slots. By using these methods, our products use the most efficient and useful joinery with aesthetic and longevity in mind.

Hidden Pocket Screws Used in tandem with dado-slots, the hidden pocket screws grant the unit further longevity by literally sucking the panels to the framework. HDPEs natural inclination is to curl after being cut, but we prevent it by securing the framework and paneling together.

Weight Due to construction of our products along with the added material used for a proper commercial-grade product our bins are heavier in weight and therefore more durable than other comparable products.

With a graphic header display, especially paired with a standardized label from Recycle Across America, our units become more eye-catching to the publicspreading the word of your recycling program to a larger audience. All header displays are available in a variety of sizes.

To properly determine which load option is best for your needs, first determine where the unit will be placedindoors or outdoors. Indoor units will typically utilize Top OR Side Load options, while outdoor options (mostly) utilize the Side Load option. A Top Load can be placed outdoors, however, the opening will be exposed to the elements without a Hinged Lid.

Labels are printed on materials that are the most environmentally-responsible and effective because they are fade-resistant, peel and lift resistant, and dont need frequent replacement.

proven resultsVeolia (the worlds largest hauler for trash and recycling) has learned that many of their Fortune 500 accounts are showing a 50% increase in recyclables collected and significant decreases in the amount of contamination in their bins that have the standardized labels displayed!

Users of the standardized labels are reporting 50-100% increases such as San Diego Unified School District, which is saving $200,000 in hauling fees because of the significant increases in their recycling levels since using the standardized labels. Culver City School District near LA has doubled their recycling levels since using the standardized labels. George Mason University is showing increases over 60% since using the standardized labels and has reduced their landfill fees by thousands ofdollars.

The Material Additional Design Elements Sign Shapes

ArmorSign material is made by sandwiching two thin layers of a main color over a secondary color so when it is routered/milled, the secondary color is exposed.

From there, we can also apply decals or other poured colors and optional accessories/compartments to make your signage eye-catching and instantly recognizable from long distances.

Large or small, virtually any shape and size is available for your sign, however contact your Landmark representative to discuss your options and help you finalize your design.

Provide us with any logo or other graphics in high resolution digital files to include on your sign. There will be additional charges billed hourly if there are unsatisfactory files that need cleaning up.
