The success of this evangelistic effort was defined in miraculous numbers. Those attending the AT&T Stadium event, one of the simulcast locations around the world or streaming the live program numbered 350,000 souls. The number of spiritual decisions recorded were 25,000. Consequently, all of our Lakeview members who took a vital interest, gave financially, in- vited someone, attended and brought someone, ushered, counseled, and those who are involved in the follow-up calls and contacts are our local heroes. Thank you Lakeview heroes for your great love God and your neighbor, eternal life event, effort. Thank you Lakeview! Having completed “Agents of the Apocalypse”, the next study will begin Sunday April 3 rd at 6:00 PM, TELL SOMEONE. This book and study book by Greg Laurie is an easy, yet comprehensive, way of shar- ing the Gospel with anyone. Greg shares a teaching session in multi- media format and in his humorous manner for each of the SIX lessons. Then we will use the study guide to address the important issues of dealing with people about the eternal life message. Our goal is not just another information exchange, but very doable, practical, and useable helps. Since the Great Commission is not a suggestion to believers, but our imperative, please make this study a high priority and plan to be at each of the six Sunday 6 PM sessions. Y’all come and enjoy this time of learning, fellowship and snacks (yes munchies). On the horizon: “DARING FAITH” by Rick Warren; “WOODLAWN” an awe inspiring movie about the miracle in Birming- ham; and “AGENTS OF BABALON” by David Jeremiah. . Lakeview family,
This spring is filled with exciting lessons and events for the youth at Lakeview. The sermon series that the youth will be going through will be “10 Commandments” where we will look at the 10 Commandments in the Bible and how they apply to our everyday lives. Also, the youth will be attending Mt. Lebanon Baptist Camp July 3-8th and the cost is $190.00/student. We are accepting payments today. If you need help with a scholarship, please feel free to con-tact Josh Chambers. Also, if you would like to set up a payment plan, we can certainly do that. Thanks for your support and we continue to pray for all that God has in store for Lakeview Baptist Church.

A big thank you to our RA leaders and GA leaders the RA’s and GA’s have been busy with service projects, the GA’s made cookies for our home-
bound members and the RA’s collected coats for the homeless. Without members to step up and lead these classes we would not be able to
have RA’S and GA’s. These classes meet Sunday nights at 6:00.
As adults we are the planters of seeds in each child life so do not take it lightly. I always tell my student that they may be the only Jesus someone
sees and that goes for us as adults as well.

The purpose of Lakeview Baptist Church is to glorify the
Lord Jesus Christ in all we do, to share His love and
message of hope with those in our community, to prepare
and equip believers for the work of the ministry through
teaching of the Scriptures and to support one another as
Christ has commanded.
On February 21, 2016 we witnessed the baptisms of Norma Arteaga and Mayanin Carillo. It was a joy to see them publicly proclaim their faith in our Lord Jesus. May God bless these ladies and their families. I want to thank everyone that attended my ordina-tion service on February 28th; I really enjoyed the whole service. It is in an honor and a privilege for me to be serving God as a minister of the gospel. I pray that I may be and instrument in his hands to reach the lost in our community. I was looking forward to attend the Harvest Amer-ica crusade at AT&T Stadium but even though we did not make it due to the stadium being at maxi-mum capacity, I am happy that more than 25,000 people made a profession of faith in 7,500 remote host locations around the globe. We must continue to pray for the lost and continue to tell someone about the good news. Thanks, Pastor Edy
