Covent Garden Hotel and Champagne Bollinger present a unique tasting event
Champagne Bollinger established in 1829, is one of the few remaining family-owned and
independently run Champagne Houses. Located in Aÿ, the heart of the Montagne de Reims, it
sits amidst 170 hectares of the finest Grand and Premier Cru vineyards, which are owned by the
house.
On this special evening you will be expertly guided through five Bollinger cuvées, paired with
delicious canapés that have been specifically designed by the chefs at Covent Garden Hotel to
complement the Champagne varieties. Offering a relaxed environment in which to enjoy some
of the world’s finest Champagne, the standing reception will be hosted by Mr Alan Montague
Dennis from Champagne Bollinger in the hotel’s gorgeous wood-panelled Drawing Room, with

An enlightening wine experience underneath the arches
Join us for an authentic wine tasting evening, led by Laithwaite’s global wine buyer. This inspiring
event starts with a Champagne reception, followed by a guided tasting with expert commentary,
and takes place in The Arch, the company’s atmospheric flagship store and cellar. You’ll sample
six different varieties of fine wine, each matched with specially-paired canapés. Highlights
include Tignanello Toscana 2014, a super Tuscan, produced only in exceptional years and the
first Sangiovese wine to be aged in small oak barrels, that has been matched with a peppered
sirloin and salsa verde bite. As well as a delicate Sancerre Alphonse Mellot Satellite 2012,
produced from 48 year old vines, offering flavours of ripe quince and subtle citrus zest that marry
