LOCAL ULTREYA Today (Sunday, July 9) after 11:00am Mass at the Rectory Hoy (Domingo 9 de julio) en la Rectora despus de la Misa de las 11:00am

Summer is here...! ...and were enjoying the nice weather...! Howev-er, as I have done in the past, please allow me to share with you a few words of advice on what to wear or not to wear for church during the summer time. Remember, I offer these comments in charity, so what is given in charity, I pray will be received in charity. The guiding principle for our dress code for worship in the church should always be: to bring honor to Our Lord present in Church by dressing appropriately. Dress for the best whom you will receive in Word and Sacrament! Dressing for the best means dressing up not down. Sacred Scripture tells us, to adore the Lord in holy attire. (Psalm 29:1) So, in choosing what to wear in Church please keep in mind that our Church is not the right place to wear clothes that are more appropri-ate for the lake, the beach, a picnic, a sporting event, etc. Please dress appropriately for worshiping in a church blessed with air conditioning. Thank you.

Gracias.
