The Proposal

To Create a “Kustom” Bike and parts division of Micargi Bicycles and to be

Micargi’s kustom bike designer/representative

The Idea: To add a California-based kustom bicycle division to Micargi Bicycles, California.

To develop kustom bicycle and part designs for reproduction and sale.To create a fully-tooled Kustom Bicycle “LAB” on-site at their California facilities.

To utilize the creative talents of a kustom bicycle designer with the production and sales resources of Micargi.

KUSTOM: is a American term used to describe the artwork, the vehicles, the hairstyle, and the fashions of those who

drove and built custom cars and motorcycles in the United States of America from the 1950s through today

Introduction of BackgroundMy name is Mike Brittan, but my friends in the Bicycle community call me “MAKE”. They call

me it because I have been making things since I was a kid. And currently I’m in the area of building kustom bicycles. I have been living in Europe for the last ten years and own and operate a kustom bicycle shop in Barcelona, Spain. I am conveniently located in Montebello, California at the moment ,which is about 3 miles from Micargi Bicycles. I have worked with Micargi Bicycles since 2003 as a dealer, at the time I was living in Oxford, Enlgand. I have sold Micargi bikes all over Europe and have become very aware of the market of the Kustom Bicycle movement.

I have attended many kustom bike shows in Europe including the World Championships held in Amsterdam, Holland every year . Most years I have presented a original kustom designed bike that have I made and in 2006 I won the World Kustom Bike Design award and in 2008 I won the 3 day kustom biker builder competition . Again in 2009, our SCORPIA bike featured in the top 3 of the finalists and only missing top honors due to a time misunderstanding with the judges.

Within our World Kustom Bike Movement , I represent as the President of Spanish Chopaderos and kustom bicycle club that is represented in 12 different countries around the world. It is the most respected kustom bike club in the world and have many well known bike builders and enthusiasts in their membership.

I am well-positioned within the center of this movement and believe in a future of this activity and ART form. I would be willing to any bicycle company that aspires to be recognized within this movement and emerging profitable trend.

Twelve Reasons I would be a benefit to Micargi

1. I have been working with Micargi Bicycles as a Dealer since 2003 and are familiar with your products.

2. I have lived and worked in Europe for the last ten years and I am familiar with the European kustom bicycle network and could be a great network resource

3. I am known throughout Europe in kustom bike design movement and I attend most of the international kustom bike events and help with it’s marketing activities.

4. I am a 2-time World champion (Amsterdam, Holland-FBI) kustom bike designer of the year and a known futurist in our movement

5. I am on the cutting edge of bicycle design and work with many others on the edge of this movement and can assist Micargi into this area.

6. I am familiar with production mechanisms with education and experience in the field. I understand the production and designer relationship and it’s importance.

7. I am familiar with the Chinese culture and work ethic as I have had the experience of working for a automotive company (General Motors in Shanghai) in China in the past.

8. I am familiar with the Chinese language and studied it in Hong Kong in 1993-1995

More Reasons… 9. I am currently involved heavily in the Spanish kustom bike movement

that has grown faster than any european movement in the last 2 years and will see great growth in the coming years.

10. Just 2 weeks ago I was honored by the Spanish Kustom Bicycle movement (bicischopper.es) with “THE KUSTOM BICYCLE OF THE YEAR” and I could therefore help expand Micargi’s operation in Southern Europe with my contacts there.

11. My Family in Los Angeles is conveniently located just a few miles from Micargi’s LA’s operation.

12. I like Micargi Bicycles and the relationships I’ve had in the past and I would be honored to work for them.

Page 12: Lab 2

Closing words I believe in a future evolution of bicycles and the technology and form of future

bicycles. if Micargi bicycles can share this belief with me I can be a willing tool and partner in this new, exciting and expanding world of bicycles.

In this time of financial challenges bicycles will continue to progress as more and more people will feel the need to be more independent in their transport needs and will surely inspire many to customize their economical transport. Like with the multi-billion dollar world of kustom cars and motorcycles. There will be a surge in kustom enthusiasts who will search for new and innovative cool ways to kustomize their life in bikes.

I believe that Micargi’s success and longevity has proven that the bicycle world is still viable and I am READY now to assist Macargi and I would be honored to work with them if they believe this proposal is honorable and acceptable to pursue.

I am currently in the country If you are interested please contact me and we can arrange a meeting in which we can further understand how we can develop our

Sincerely, Mike (Make) Brittan
