GPA is calculated on a 4-point system giving an additional point for every Honors (H) and Advanced Placement (AP) courses taken at LCHS. All other courses factor into the GPA based on a non-weighted scale. A student’s weighted GPA appears on his/her high school transcript and related college-application School Report. Transfer grades are considered in calculation of the GPA and are not awarded additional honors points for AP and Honors classes taken outside of LCHS. International students who transfer into LCHS receive a P/F marking for all of the courses taken outside of the country.
