CLC EvoRange overview
Knock-on as standard
CLC Evo Wings
• The CLC Evo frame is able to get a tine arrangement with 420mm (rigid) or 370mm (folding) tine spacing allowing the use of wide wing shares for a shallow stubbling cultivation.
• The CLC Evo Wings will only be equipped with hollow disc as levelling system
• Working width:
• Rigid: 3m – 3,50m – 4m
• Folding: 4m – 5m
Benefit:
Full cutting with shallow stubbling
2 bar frame system enable uses of smaller tractors for a good working width.
New bolted headstock as on the CLC pro
line
Bolted tine holder as a standard for
the full range
8mm beam thickness for both front and rear beam
CLC Evo Wings - Rigid frame concept
The CLC Evo frame is basically the same structure as the “CLC pro” line. Headstock, tine holder, and power ability have been aligned for the 2-bar and 3-bar frames.
Max power range:
-3,00m : 240hp
-3,50m : 270hp
-4,00m : 300hp
8mm beam thickness for both
front and rear beam
CLC Evo Wings - Folding frame concept
The new CLC Evo folding frame is also based on a similar structure like the “CLC pro” line. The main frame is 100% the same but is just a row shorter.
Very new on the folding CLC Evo models is the possibility to get bolted tine holders as a standard (was not available on CLC)Max power range:
-4,00m : 300hp-4,50m : 320hp-5,00m : 350hp
Bolted tine holder as a standard also
on fold model
FEM calculation• The Finite Element Method is a computer simulation
helping to design each element according to the data and is securing the first step of the development.
Shaking test• at full load on a shaking robot during a specified
period• replicate the machine lifetime over few weeks to
control de reliability of the structure
The 3 critical phases of a frame development
Benefit:
We are using this know-how for all our new products. In parallel, a protocol of functional tests is managed in various countries to collect farmers opinion. We are investing a lot to guarantee the best performances.
Strain gauge test• physical tests in the field and in transport by using
strain gauges which can register the real stress in the material.
• By cross-checking with the 2 previous phases the structure maximum power allowance can be approved
CLC tine – Bolted tine holder
The CLC line is getting as a standard the bolted tine holder for all models.
Benefit: easy to take few tines away when
using the CLC models as loosener less welding on main frame is more
reliable and giving the all structure a longer life time.
CLC tine – High clearance
870.
mm
• the high under beam clearance of 870mm is ensuring blockage free operation
• well proven simple and robust design with no grease nipple at all = low maintenance (due to heat treatment by cementation no wearing between the parts, no greasing necessary)
• Unique leg design made out of a tube enabling the C shank to move side ways +/- 14 cm with the short tine, and +/-20 cm with the long tine, each side, thus reporting less stress to the structure
• light weight concept, complete tine is only 35kg.
• User friendly technology
CLC tine – Maintenance free zone
70x40mm
• Always the best penetration ability in all soil
• The power demand and the fuel consumption are limited.
1. point is working by lifting the ground to make a perfect cracking of the top layer
2. the upper part is doing an intensive mixing also with low power demand due to its receding shape.
Benefit: This particular angle design offering 2 distinct
front lines is avoiding to flick poorer soil back on top of the ground, interesting when such cultivator equipment will be used for preparing seedbed in one pass.
CLC tine – Special angle

• All parts of the tines are heat treated, providing
an extraordinary reliability and long life• Extraordinary vibration capacity providing
intensive crumbling.
• Unique leg design made out of a tube
enabling the C shank to move side ways +/- 14 cm
with the short tine, and +/-20 cm with the long tine,
each side, thus reporting less stress to the structure
• This technique is also allowing to use lighter
material, in order to save lifting capacity and
pulling requirement
• Here is a tine in our laboratory showing how far it can flex. The side pulling force to go up to 20 cm is 1,200kg. The tine holder stays in place, just the leg is flexing due to the heat treated tube
CLC tine - Flexibility
CLC tine - Flexibility
Benefit: Higher pressure, at 5cm for a total of 640.kg interesting when
hard dry soil Frame protected all the time Unique on the market : the release force decreases when the
release height increase
CLC tine – Auto-reset
The shear bolt leg design is providing a Vibromat effect
Benefit:
higher pressure at the point with 2T to ensure a clean breaking of the bolt
Vibromat effect: the tine being made from a tube is flexible enough to allow the point to trip 10 cm back before the bolt is breaking. In that way the Vibromat is is avoiding too frequent breakage even being only shearbolted
This short tine can still go 14cm sideways around obstacles, reporting less stress to the tine holder and frame
Shearbolt and Leaf spring pack can be combined, so that the spring pack will get 2T pressure also before releasing, interesting in very heavy soils to keep the tines in and avoiding the driver to change the bolt immediately.
longer life time
CLC tine – Shear bolted leg
Hollow disc:• Rubber spring loaded, to follow
the ground and protect• Standard border disc• Disc linked to the roller via a
parallelogram, so that whenchanging working depth with the roller the disc will stay at sameoptimum position for levelling• Easy adjustment via turnbuckle to
set up position of the disc
CLC Evo Wings – Levelling disc
CLC Evo Wings – Knock-on as standard
Combination of Knock-on 150 + wing shares 470 + deflectors 100mm
• Quick and easy: taking off the 2 saddle bolts will allow to use the CLC Evo Wings only with the 150mm share or others, to go deeper with a moderate fuel consumption.
• This kit can be adapted on any CLC tine having the 2 holes on the side
Wings shares are the plough skimmer shares from Kverneland. With Knock-on, willing was also to standardise wearing parts. This share is harder than before and being slightly thinner it will offer the same life time as the former generation for about half the price!!
470mm
Actipack roller 560 mmMake it as aggressive as you want
• Skid and knives between discs clean even in wet conditions. The knives are cutting bigger clods coming in the disc spacing of 12,5cm leaving a ready seedbed
• Knives pressure can be adjusted as high as the disc pressure to the ground to make equal pressure through the working width to achieve a nice and firm seedbed, and can also be put in a non working position to leave a rough ground surface with more clods (weather protected)
• 3 different positions of the knives aggressiveness are proposed + 1 “OFF” position. They are adjusted thanks to the long spanner
• Can work with or without knives• No limitation in stony conditions• Discs with aggressive notched shape to ensure good driving
CLC range – Rollers
• Maintenance free bearings with 5 lips labyrinth sealing system + steel protection cover
Actiring roller ø 540mm
• Light and active due to the skids between the rings that avoid blockages.
• The knives are cutting bigger clods coming in the disc spacing of 12,5cm leaving a ready seedbed
• Ring made with L profile.• Light and strong construction• Good recompaction (160 kg/m)• Shaft diameter: 50 mm
Unique knives pressure adjustment
• Knife pressure can be adjustable to ensure a fine crumbled seedbed or rough surface
• 3 different positions for the knives pressure are available. They are adjusted thanks to the long spanner delivered with the machine
CLC range – Rollers
• Maintenance free bearings with 5 lips labyrinth sealing system + steel protection cover
CLC range – Rollers NEW
Actiflex roller ø 580mm
• Intensive mixing effect• Self-cleaning effect• Low sensibility to blockages and stony conditions• Good compromise between recompaction and cost
(160kg/m)• For all soil types• Maintenance free bearings with 5 lips labyrinth sealing
system + steel protection cover• Low sensibility to wearing soil• Shaft diameter: 50 mm
New Double cage roller 400 mm (tube/flat)• Good crumbling• Precise depth control• Good levelling effect• Good carrying capacity• New robust frame and suspension design
