YOUTH SWIM: ADVANCED Students work on the 4 competitive strokes, finishes, & turns at the wall. They also learn how to do a racing start. Pre-req: Free Style, Back Stroke, Breast Stroke, and the Butterfly kick. They learn the rest of the Butterfly. Emphasis on all the strokes is doing the strokes “legal”, so they can compete on a swim team and not get disqualified. Students also learn how to mask, fin, and snorkel. *Parents to provide mask, fin & snorkel.

The Kroc Center swim team is coached by Becky Davis, native Memphian, All American NCAA Championship swimmer, former American Record Holder, and an Olympic Trial Semi-Finalist! Join the Kroc Center Swim Team to learn training and racing techniques. The Kroc Kingfish Swim Team competes in the Mid-South Swim Conference.

Participants must have completed the following perquisites:

» Kroc Center Swim Lessons. » Able to swim 25 yards freestyle

unassisted. » Basic understanding of all four

competitive strokes.

Our kid’s sports programs are geared towards being a positive experience for the whole family. No matter what level of experience, your child will learn skills from positive coaches. We’ll also focus on teaching sportsmanship, self-esteem and other values that encourage your child in sports and in life. Let us know if you are interested in volunteering!

*Each team will have 1 practice per week for an hour, with games on Saturdays. Once the number of participants is determined, a practice and game schedule will be sent out.

Jump, squat, climb! This active kid’s class is a perfect workout time for parents! Give your kids something fun to do while you jog, weightlift, or swim! Over time, you will see tangible improvements in your child’s flexibility, excitement for being active, and self-confidence in abilities. These classes are also great for socializing your little ones. Fit Kids will include stretching time, an obstacle course, and gym games.

PARENTS NITE OUTNeeding a date night? Bring your kiddos to the Kroc Center! Our Parent’s Night Out is for ages 6 months-10 years old, and runs from 4:00pm-8:00pm. Children ages 6 months-4 years will join our superb Child Watch Team, and kids ages 5-10 will be joining our Camp Counselors for activities around the Kroc. Cost is $15 per child for members and $20 per child for non-members. Registration deadline: Wednesdays prior to each event.

Hang out, shoot some hoops, run soccer drills & relax at the Kroc during our open gym and turf time. Goals, balls and cones will be provided. Open to youth and adults.

Looking for a fun, silly, & active option for your child during their break?! Kroc Camps offer a well-rounded experience for kids to enjoy everything the Kroc has to offer. We will kick off the day with Morning Rally, where we do ice breakers, get to know you games, dances, & games to get the campers pumped for the day! We’ll spend the rest of the time playing recreational games, racing through the challenge center, swimming, doing crafts, watching a movie on the big screen in the theatre, and so much more! Join us for lots of laughs and memories!
