Economic TransitionThe process started in 1999 including the reconstruction of the cadastral records

Active DiscriminationRemoval of autonomy in 1989 followed by ten-year period of active discrimination (laws, employment etc)

Weak Land Administration SectorPrior 1999 defining and recording of property rights weak. Law introduce Land Book but never implemented.

ConflictLarge-scale property damage, 300 000 homes destroyed. Records including cadastral records removed
