SHOEPROJECT

TheMy first project for school, out of

the many materials available to

me , I chose one and examined

its properties and limitations.

when I reached a self-containing

composition, I translated the

shape into polyurethane foam.

The first step - cutting a circle and then cutting inner circle - But the inside

is eccentric cutting. Created a ring with a variable thickness, folding into

itself Ring Creates the object.

I tried to mimic the behavior of the

plastic material and maintain the same

characteristic structural tension in the

sculpted model.

CERAMICSTOVE

Page 9: Kobe Boaron Portfolio

A Cerami project does not have to be entirely

ceramic. in additional to ceramics,

I also took a course in origami. One of the

basic folding shapes I learnd seem as if it

would translate itself naturaly into a ceramic

stove the surfaces touching the pans as well

as the empty spaces giving the fire air to

“breathe”.

O C E A NS U R F I N GS U I T

O C E A NS U R F I N GS U I TThe ocean: I chose it. A part of the fun

of being a student is the opportunity to

touch, explore and expose your favorite

places and activities. as I had one of my

usual strolls down the shore, I noticed

those fearless surfers out at sea, whose

only fear, perhaps, might be a lack of

waves. as I glanced over I thought it

would be interesting to make them

more visible to each other as well as to

onlookers from afar. I found inspiration

from a pair of nike soccer trainers which

were designed to be seen and notice on

televised matches. they simply flickered.

I thought this atribute could be applica-

tion to the surfer’s wet suites, which

wold flicker and glow in response to the

wearers rowing motions and extreme

body movements

When watching TV I noticed the player

worn Nike football shoes, each shoe

painted in two colors. Dark interior

Working Model -

Device that simulates the stretches of

the Surfing suit during activity.

To add a high tensile strength, I made

template silicon strips - that can be cast

in different colors.

Iv’e hardly found any good reason to

categories the projects Iv’e worked on

during my studies. now, in retrospect, I

can sort them into subject matters. with

the coffee machine I attempted to adres

the tension between foreign bodies.

how does one object engage/connect/

intersect/lean on another.

Levigatrice, It’s simply how you say

Sander in italian. the color Lamborghini

is not just a color. it symbolises speed

and and burning rubber on asphalt. the

entire course revolved around surfaces

and i did not shy away from the places

it took me instinctively. this Sander has

two modes: one being a single Sander,

while the other acts as two handles

holding a sheet of sanding paper to

reach difficult places.

Polyurethane foam.

I’m not much of a toast enthusiest but

I’ve noticed that a significant part of the

toasting experience is the element of

surprise.

ta-da! the toast is ready without any

warning. some might say that’s a part

of its charm, but for me, a toaster could

do with a sense of time. that is, a toster

that makes the anticipation palpable by

allowing its user to witness the toasting

process and the time left until it will be

ready for buttering!

CAR &Communication The final project explores the theme

driving culture and examines the way

we communicate with each other using

the car, the communication between

the car and communication between

the cars to their environment. The

project is an attempt to create a new

identity and fresh car, so you can show

real change in our conception of it. Work

process were asked questions about the

nature and shape of the car in front of

the environment in which it takes place

- On how it meets our need for drivers

to express ourselves through it, and

whether and how can the shape of the

car affect our behavior and our relation

to road car as an object.

Narrow and small-car virtues one driver

designed and built surfaces that can

change the transparency and color to

enhance the ability to communicate and

transfer between cars and the signs of

their surroundings

The beginning of the Search was

How to communicate through

the car with the environment.

One first thought was to reveal

interior and driver to produce

healthy Diaglog, Search for

sympathy and understanding

between drivers.

Thus affect the driving experi-

ence.

The car is constructed of

material that can change dark to

brightness, and color change as

a way to communicate.
