1. We would love for you to stay another night yet all good things must come to an end so we’ve established 12:00 p.m. as the check-out time.
Check-in is 2:00 p.m. 2. Please direct visitors to the office so that we may properly welcome them (and collect a nominal fee). It is in everyone’s best interest that the
visitor leaves no later than 9:00 p.m. If you’d like, we’ll tell Uncle Larry it’s time to go and no, he can’t finish that last story.
3. Please display the lovely car passes in your car window. 4. Alcohol is discouraged. If you must, please use moderation and keep it
inside your unit or at your site only. For your convenience, the State Highway Patrol and Hancock County Sheriff offices are all very close.
5. This is a family-oriented park so please respect the quiet hours of 10:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. 6. We’d love for you to believe that we own all of Indiana, but we don’t so
please respect the private property surrounding the park. 7. Our pool is refreshing. However, nothing puts a damper on that like a
naked baby without a swim diaper. Parents please use common courtesy and make sure your children are supervised. Remember there is not a lifeguard.
8. We love pets! Please keep them on a 6' leash. There are a few other limits that KOA, Inc. and our insurance company places on what animals are allowed in the park. Please check with the office on the current policy as it can change. It’s not us, really!
9. This is not the place to set an Indy time trial speed record. With all the
campers and children around we have set a speed limit of 5 M.P.H. We do not allow golf carts or minibikes in the park.
10. We have handy fire rings, which is the ONLY place to make a fire. Fires are great, but keep the following in mind: There is no tribe to signal, so keep the fires small; Smokey the Bear is not real, so please put the fire out yourself, due to underground wiring the rings may not be moved.
11. Extra parking is available at the pavilion. We allow one passenger car per site. 12. Unless you see a recently installed dishwasher in the bathroom, please do not
use the sinks to wash dishes. 13. Garbage is actually picked up everyday! Simply place your bag in front of your
site by 10:00 a.m. and our amazingly efficient staff will pick it up - or feel free to use the dumpster by the exit.
14. Thanks in advance for not smoking inside any of our buildings. 15. We know that you love that big shaggy carpet, but we do not allow anything to
be placed on the grass as we prefer that it is green when you leave. 16. Due to the fact that Indiana receives enough precipitation already, please do
not wash your RV, car, truck, moped, unicycle, boat, dog, spouse or kids on your site.
17. The Indiana State Government extends their welcome to all campers and wants them to be aware of a few laws. The first disallows dumping of wastewater on the ground. The second wants you to have an airtight connection to the sewer hookup. Not even the government likes gas.
18. The State Highway Patrol & County Sheriff request that you read #4 again.
