SAATILONSaatilon represents a range of screen fabricsproduced from a monofilament polyamidefibre. Due to its inherent elastic characteristicsthis fabric is ideal for printing on uneven andcurved surfaces. Moreover, Saatilon offers anexcellent abrasion resistance and ink passage.

SAATITEXSaatitex is a family of polyester fabrics madeof tightly and evenly twisted filaments toform a single thread, hence its identificationas multifilament. Saatitex is used instead ofsilk to produce delicate designs on house-hold fabrics or for the sophisticated fashionindustry.


SAATILENE HITECH2

Saatilene Hitech2 is a monofilament poly-ester fabric, which is the ideal choice formulti-colour control, intricate designs anduniform ink deposits. This fabric has anunlimited range of mesh counts that includeSaatilene Hitech2 Ultra Orange and UltraYellow for optimum stencil resolution.With the improved development of theproduction process it can now reach highertension levels than before with reducedtensioning timeframes. SAATILENE DUOSaatilene Duo is a monofilament fabric withhigh technical features. It has a highertension compared with the other polyesterfabrics, high modulus and a better elasticmemory. The high abrasion resistanceincreases the panel life and makes it idealfor abrasive paste and inks. A better printingquality and an easier stencil cleaning com-plete Saatilene Duo profile.

SAATILENE HIBONDSaatilene Hibond is a high tension/low elon-gation polyester monofilament screen-printingfabric, offering added bonuses to the stencilmaker and printer alike: timesavings andstencil durability. While all screen fabricsimperatively require a thorough mesh treat-ment before stencil processing, SaatileneHibond is delivered ready-to-use. Its specialfactory finishing renders the use of adhesionpromoters obsolete and in some casesreduces ghost imaging. Apart from theproduction timesavings, it will extend thelife of stencils from single to triple, or more.This is a unique feature especially beneficialwhen printing conditions are unusually harsh,either due to the nature of the substrateor the ink system.

SAATILENE HIBOND FIBREThe atomic microscope shows the structure of a classicpolyester fibre (A) and the modified surface of the SaatileneHibond fibre (B). A special surface treatment grants abetter film adhesion to the fabric and increases the stencildurability during the printing process of around 50%.

SAATILENE PCB-MESHSaatilene PCB-Mesh is a polyester monofila-ment fabric of the last generation speciallyengineered for the production of electroniccircuit boards by the screen-printing process.Saatilene PCB-Mesh is produced with aspecial surface treatment that guaranteesextremely high stencil durability andoptimum fabric stability.

SAATILENE CD-MESHSaatilene CD-Mesh is the result of the latestadvances in technology. It offers tensionstability superior to that of high moduluspolyester fabrics. Compact disc printingrequires a series of features from screenfabrics such as: tensile strength, elevatedtension, stability, stencil durability andreliability. Saatilene CD-Mesh has greaterelastic memory and exceptional stenciladhesion. It enhances the reproductionquality of the finest half-tone dot, and can berecycled, maintaining the same properties.This is due to the following conditions whenprinting CDs: long runs, fast printing speed,ink permeability, quick press set-up andfast, efficient screen recycling.

DIGITAL TENSION METERSaati DGTensThe Saati Tension Meter is an indispensablecompanion when tensioning fabrics forscreen production or monitoring the tensionof recycled screens. It is the most accurateinstrument within the range of mechanicalmeters and the only one that allows readingsup to 130 N/cm. Its high sensitivity allowsdetection of the smallest variation of tensionall over the screen.

POCKET SURF III RZPocket meter The Pocket Surf III Surface Meter is apocket-sized, battery-operated roughnessgauge. It measures stencil and substratesurface roughness parameters in Ra, Rmaxand Rz with digital readout. The PocketSurf III is solidly built with durable castaluminium housing for years of accuratesurface measurements.

TQMDigital Radiometer DRC 100XA precision instrument used to measureexposure lamp intensity in a narrow spectralband where the photo emulsion is at itsmost sensitive (400-430 nanometre range).Using this measurement and the stencilmanufacturer’s recommended exposuredose, you can quickly calculate correctphotoemulsion and stencil film exposuretimes. This eliminates lengthy and lessaccurate testing procedures that are difficultto interpret.


TQM Aqua-CheckThe TQM Aqua-Check determines whenthe stencil is dry enough to expose anddetects hidden moisture instantly. It is a fastand accurate measurement that preventsyou from taking chances with your stencil.The battery-operated contact meter providesdirect readings of the residual moisturecontent in coated (and dried) screens toultimately prevent pinholes and prematurestencil breakdown. There is no guesswork.Simply hold it against the emulsion or filmsurface and press the “READ” button for2 seconds. Look at the dial. Red for troubleahead. Orange for risky. Green for go!

TQMETG Electronic thickness gaugeTQM Electronic Thickness Gauge (ETG) isthe only thickness gauge that calculatesthe difference between the fabric and emul-sion thickness automatically. It is the choicefor the screen printer looking for a practical,compact and easy-to-use thickness gaugefor quality control purposes. Its uses includescreen mesh and stencil measurements,as well as substrate and cured ink filmmeasurements.

Equipment for laser direct exposureSaatiPrint offers a new automated digital systemfor the exposure of screen-printing stencilsperformings the realization of the stencil directlyfrom the file. The exposure technology is basedon scanning by polygonal mirror and a flat fieldlens of a laser light beam. This digital systemis also equipped with screen loading andunloading storage units. The screens are takenfrom a vertical storage unit, positioned on theunit then imaged and transferred to the outputstorage unit. With this digital technology it ispossible to manage and elaborate the digitalimages (MAC based and PC offered) with the mostcommon software such as Adobe Photoshop,and to store print files in electronic format withhigh resolution. Besides it allows the processto be performed without need of an operator.


TOP 14 Pneumatic stretching systemThe Top 14 Clamp is a highly advanced, yeteasy to use system, which achieves thehighest recommended tensions more uni-formly, without over-tensioning the corners. It provides the greatest stability of any systemavailable. Among the most notable featuresof this premier stretching system is its inde-pendent or simultaneous warp/weft tensioningcapability. Another great feature is a specialpneumatic device that totally eliminates thecontact between fabric and frame whileallowing frame compression. The system’smanual control panel is ergonomicallydesigned and allows continuous non-incre-mental adjustments on demand. All pneu-matic connections offer quick release forrapid frame size changeover and systemexpansion. The electronic control panel allowsoperation in three modes: manual, semi-automatic and automatic.

DURALIFE squeegeeMade in the U.S.A., Duralife are cast in indi-vidual cavity molds that seal both walls tobetter withstand solvent attack. This assuresconsistent and uniform blade thickness,dimensions and hardness. Manufactured withour exclusive urethane formulation that locksin abrasion resistance, Duralife squeegees holdup longer on press and resist softening, evenin UV applications. Manufactured with a closertolerance (+5/-0), than the industry norm of±5. Duralife will not be affected adversely byhumidity, or harden in storage. Choose fromseveral color-coded durometers, from extrasoft to extra hard. Duralife squeegees areavailable in more than 200 sizes/profiles to fitany press holder (domestic or international).

SAATI 21-Step Sensitivity GuideThis is the exposure guide of choice for accu-racy, ease of use and all-purpose application.With the Saati guide, there is no guesswork orcomplicated interpretation. It is a more precisetool than the gelatin/density type exposurecalculators, and unlike competitive products,it can be used on all stencil types and all meshcounts. (Other exposure guides are not com-patible with pure photo-polymer stencils, anddo not perform as well on coarse mesh.)Our 21-step guide is also much smaller soit can be used on all production screens.The Saati Sensitivity Guide is a film con-taining a transmission type density scale with21 steps ranging from transparent to opaque.(1=zero density. 21=solid black.)
