Annual Memorial Service

Wednesday, Oct 16th at 7:00PM

In the Atrium

We look forward to seeing the families of our residents who passed away over the last year as they return to honour their loved ones. Everyone is welcome

to join us.

Bulk Food Purchasing Program

The Foundation is very excited to inform our staff, residents’ families & volunteers that we will now

have a bulk buying program from one of our food suppliers – Sysco. Here is how it will work:

1. Place your order at Reception. Simply check off the item and quantity.

2. Pay for your purchase at time of order.

3. Orders will be placed twice a month –approximately the 15th and end of month for those items

that are paid for.

4. Items will be delivered and you will be responsible for picking up from the Dietary Staff within a

day or so of delivery due to freezer space.

5. If quantities are too large, perhaps consider sharing with a friend or co-worker.

Congratulations to KV Drugs

Congratulations to KV Drugs as our new pharmacy supplier for both our homes, KWCC & KMI. By further streamlining our operations, our residents and staff will soon benefit from this service. With the support of KV Drugs, this year we will be able to transition too a better medication administration system as well as electronic documentation of

medications...providing even safer medication management.

As well, all staff will now have access to a group purchasing discount program.

Resident billing will now be processed through KV Drugs. If you would like to speak to a

representative at KV Drugs, please contact Kelly Hebert at 847-7581.

IT IS SHOEBOX TIME AGAIN!!IT IS SHOEBOX TIME AGAIN!!IT IS SHOEBOX TIME AGAIN!!IT IS SHOEBOX TIME AGAIN!!

We all remember that feeling of receiving a gift and opening it up on Christmas morning.

The excitement, wonder, curiosity, joy and that feeling of love. Knowing someone

cared enough about you that they gave you a gift. A gift of love.

Kennebec Manor is pleased to once again be gearing up for the annual shoe box campaign! Please

join forces and get your family, children and grandchildren involved. Empty boxes may be picked up

after October 1st, and once boxes are filled, they can be dropped off at the front desk or nurse’s

station

Donations are also welcomed to assist with shipping these gifts to the waiting children all around

the world! Cost is approximately $7 per box to ship. Here are some ideas of what to put in your

box:

Winter Clothing

It’s time to get the winter clothing out!! We would ask families to go through their loved one’s closets to remove summer clothes thus making room for the winter

clothes. Sorting thru the clothes will keep them in better shape and help with over-crowding.
