Jesus tells us that the thread which runs throughout every priority in our lives is the kingdom of God.

Does every area of my life serve the interests of the kingdom of God, or my own interests?

1. Kingdom First, in your relationship with God over all other relationships

• The Greatest Commandment- ‘to love God…’

• Spiritual growth does not come to the complacent, but to those who seek.

Jeremiah 29.13

2. Kingdom First, in making eternal investments over temporary ones

• The world we live in is both

spiritual and material, eternal and earthly.• Tithing, serving, and missions ministry are investments in the kingdom.

3. Kingdom First, in knowing ‘who you are’ over ‘what you do’

• Focus on character development rather than achievement and accomplishment.

• The entire Sermon on the Mount deals with ‘Truth vs. False’ righteousness.
