• Each year thousands of patients who have any of more than 200 kinds of cancer seek treatment through KIMS Institute of Oncology. The department collaborates with other departments and divisions at KIMS to provide patients with comprehensive cancer care.
• Adults with cancer of the colon and rectum, breast, prostate, and lung comprise the largest number of patients seen at KIMS Oncology Department but we are well-equipped to treat children and teenagers as well as other types of cancers.
• Specialists at KIMS have extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of every kind of cancer, including: Brain tumors, Head and neck tumours, Sarcomas, Melanoma, Kidney cancer, Ovarian cancer, Hepatoma, Biliary cancers, Pancreatic cancer and Neuroendocrine cancers.

Dedicated call centre:The dedicated call centre is a one-of-a-kind centre for cancer patients and their families. Any individual can contact the call centre and can ask anything about cancer –prevention, diagnosis, treatment, recovery and more.
•The easy-to-access call centre is available from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Mon – Sat) using the Toll-free number 1800 1020 393. •Individuals can also send enquiries related to the cancer by writing to the centre on [email protected]

Awareness sessions:We feel strongly that education can reduce the suffering caused by cancer by educating patients about choices and supporting cancer prevention. To achieve our goals we provide accurate and understandable information in an innovative and engaging manner. Our work includes educational visits to patient support groups and schools, corporates lectures as well as active partnerships with community-based organisations.
