1. The great battle of Badr took place on seventeenth of Ramadhan, Friday.

2. This battle was led by Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and participated by Angel Gabriel with 313 followers. In the end, Muslim conquered Quraish military. Allah mentioned this battle in the Quran:

�ذ�ل�ة� �نت�م� أ أ ك�م� الل$ه� ب�ب�د�ر� و� ر� د� ن�ص� ل�ق� و�ون� ك�ر� � الل$ه� ل�ع�ل�ك�م� ت�ش� وا ات�ق� ف�

3:123 For, indeed, God did succor you at Badr, when you were utterly weak. Remain, then, conscious of God, so that you might have cause to be grateful.

3. It is stated that infidel army was led by Abu Jahl with 1000 armies and supported by devil.

4. Before this battle begin Prophet made supplication to lord in his prayer:

إن تهلك هذه العصابة ال اللهم تعب

“God this is Quraish. It has come with all its arrogance and boastfulness, trying to discredit thy Apostle. God, I ask thee to

humiliate them tomorrow. God, if this Muslim band will perish today, thou shall not be worshipped”.

5. The truth will always be with the defenders of Islam. Family, wealth, and land are meaningless if one does not submit totally to Allah.

6. For example; God promised to forgive all sins commited by the fighters of Badr because they were protecting the religion. It is narrated in Hadith Qudsi: O fighter of Badr, do whatever you wish because I

already forgive you

7. The point highlighted in this battle during the month of Ramadhan is that the task given by Allah and Muslims responsibility are greater than fulfilling own desires.

8. Remember that Allah will help those who willingly to help religion (Islam).

22:40 Those who have been driven from their homelands against all right for no other reason than their saying. “Our Sustainer is God!” For, if God had not enabled people to defend themselves

against one another, all] monasteries and churches and synagogues and mosques - in [all of] which Gods name is

abundantly extolled - would surely have been destroyed [ere now]. And God will most certainly succor him who succors His

cause: for, verily, God is most powerful, almighty,
