Introduction
Topic: Population vs Transportation Revenues
Purpose: Researching the correlation between population in Canada and revenues made by transportation companies from 1995-2000
Introduction
Question: With population steadily rising in all provinces and territories, will revenues in the transportation sector rise also?
Hypothesis: With the increasing population in Canada, citizens will turn to more public modes of transportation, in turn raising revenues for transport.
The Variables Independent Variable: population Dependent Variable: revenues pulled in by the
transportation sector

Therefore... Since the correlation coefficient equalled
(.95) we can now say that population and transportation revenues positively correlate, with a strong correlation coefficient. Therefore, I must accept my hypothesis.
