STEELLike a hard hat for your toes, steel toe protection has a high crush rating and is the heaviest of toe protections. It provides a roomier toe box and maximum comfort.

ALUMINUMLighter than steel, it provides superb protection and the same crush rating as steel toe. The toe cap is thicker than steel, but still provides unmatched comfort.

COMPOSITEThe lightest of toe protection, composite has the same crush rating as steel, but is the thickest of toe protection, making it the bulkiest of all three. Composite is incredibly comfortable and lightweight.

SOFTWhen you want the durability and performance of a full-featured work boot, but enhanced toe protection is not needed. KEEN soft toes feature KEEN.Protect toe caps to safeguard against minor impact, but are not reinforced with a secondary crush resistance.

INNOVATIVE WELT CONSTRUCTION

DILEMMA: Durability of the toe area is a common weakness for Goodyear welted boots, often resulting in delamination.

Non-continuous Goodyear welt construction is reinforced by the traditional KEEN toe bumper to prevent premature toe delamination under extreme work conditions.

The foot is made up of 33 joints, 107 ligaments, 19 muscles and tendons, and 26 bones, the five largest being the metatarsals. KEEN’s anatomically engineered footbed provides arch support that cradles the natural contours and make-up of the foot. Metatarsals + Anatomical design = KEEN Metatomical Footbed. Keeps feet supported and comfortable.

A waterproof, breathable membrane that lets vapor out without letting water in. Perspiration and moisture naturally produced by your body are able to escape, while at the same time keeping the wet out and keeping your feet dry.

Lightweight, warm insulation made with charcoal from bamboo to hold heat. Charcoal from bamboo insulation is extremely lightweight, durable and provides warmth across a range of temperatures. The higher the gram rating, the warmer the boot. KEEN Utility offers work boots with insulation from 400g to 600g.

A tri-layer footbed captures warmth and provides underfoot comfort. Crafted of wool, a thermal foil barrier for warmth retention, and EVA for support and cushioning.

All KEEN Utility puncture resistant boots, indicated by PR, meet ASTM approved puncture resistant components. Puncture resistant boots reduce the possibility of injury caused by sharp objects that can penetrate the bottom of a boot.

KEEN Utility boots feature supportive shanks for comfort, durability and stability. A shank is essential as it helps balance the load incurred by the feet and calves during a work day. KEEN Utility boots feature TPU shanks and nylon shanks.
