About Kavi Marketplace

Kavi Marketplace, powered by TailorWell, is a one-stop shop that bundles all the tools necessary for small groups to enjoy great benefits. It is designed to make healthcare interaction easy, with consolidated billing, no administrative fees and an easily accessible online enrollment platform. Product offerings through Kavi include small-group medical plans from Asuris Northwest Health; and large-group dental, vision and life insurance benefits specifically selected from Delta Dental of Washington, VSP Vision Care Inc. and LifeMap Assurance Company.

Through Kavi, employers perform their own online administration via a comprehensive, real-time platform, and employees shop and enroll in an online marketplace. Key advantages to Kavi include: online shopping; decision support and enrollment; comprehensive and highly accurate benefits administration; consolidated billing; tools; and a My Benefits employee portal, which allows every Kavi member to have a personalized website with their own benefit selections and cost summary.

Through Kavi, Asuris offers comprehensive small-group medical, pharmacy and wellness plans. Asuris is committed to the small-group market, allowing employees to choose from the broad Preferred network, which offers access to any contracted provider across Washington state and its Accountable Health Network.

Additional benefits are provided by Delta Dental of Washington, the state’s leading dental benefits company; VSP Vision Care Inc., the nation’s only not-for-profit vision company; and LifeMap. With several unique plan designs to choose from, employers will be empowered to pick the right combination of benefits to meet their needs, while taking advantage of Kavi’s group purchasing power.

Kavi products are available for all industries in Washington state, and are distributed to Asuris-appointed and Kavi-accredited producers via the Benefit Resource Hub (the HUB). The HUB provides accredited producers with secure, online access to Washington state’s premier health care insurance companies’ products.

Ambulatory surgery center (ASC) coinsurance discount means savings for employees*Employees can receive up to a 10% coinsurance discount when they opt to have qualifying outpatient procedures performed at an in-network ambulatory surgery center. This can mean thousands of dollars in savings.

Rewards • Eligible employees can earn a $100 gift card if they

complete the General Health Assessment and biometric screening during the first three months following your plan’s effective/renewal date.

Coinsurance An amount the employee may be required to pay as their share of the cost for services or prescription drugs after they pay any deductibles. Coinsurance is usually a percentage (for example, 20%).

Copay A flat dollar amount the employee may be required to pay at the time they receive a medical service or supply, like a doctor’s visit, hospital outpatient visit or prescription drug. For example, they might pay $20 for a doctor’s visit or prescription drug.

Deductible The amount the employee must pay out of their own pocket each calendar year before the plan begins to pay. Some services, such as preventive care, are covered by the plan before the employee meets the deductible.

Formulary (list of covered drugs) A list of prescription medications covered by the plan. The drugs on this list are selected by a committee of doctors and pharmacists. The list includes both brand-name and generic drugs.

Generic drugs Generally, a generic drug works the same as a brand-name drug and usually costs less.

Health Savings Account A tax-advantaged medical savings account.

Network providers Medical professionals and facilities that have agreed to accept a lower price (called an allowed amount) as payment in full for services that they provide to your employees.

Out-of-pocket costs The costs the employee pays out of their own pocket for covered care. Examples are deductibles, copays, coinsurance and costs for prescription drugs.
