All Thailand has continued to wear black and white clothing for a month. I will wear mourning clothes at work for one year. The political situation seems calm though there are warnings about bomb threats from political terrorists. Continue to pray for peace in Thailand. Everyone seems anxious. It was an eventful time in Nagaland, India in the Himalayan foothills close to Burma. It has very poor infrastructure (no showers (dip bath), not much hot water (had to be heated), temps in the 50s, sporadic outages of both water and electricity, and very poor internet connectivity. It took 2.5 hours to travel 45 miles due to poor roads. I reluctantly went because I felt God wanted me to go. I wasn’t disappointed as God changed my heart. The “Warrior Advance” was an intercession seminar offered by my good friends, Dan and Jackie Hanselman, and a new friend, Dr. Ron Horner. It was attended by several Naga tribes, Indians, and a German missionary and me. The first week was spent dealing with generational iniquities, those sins committed by our ancestors, those sins which plague our family tree. There is a history of bloodshed, war and prejudice. We had a very moving reconciliatory foot-washing ceremony between the Nagas, the Indians, and the British. The second week we learned more about petitioning in the courts of heaven and overturning the verdicts of hell. We spent a good deal of time worshipping and entering into the presence of God. God did a real work in my life. I realized that I had put myself into a box which said that God could only use me in certain ways. I had limited what I believed God could do in my life. I had to confess this sin as well as others regarding my self-image (which was quite damaged) and my image of God’s ability. I was (literally) shaken under the power of God. I understand there is video of this “shaking”: I hear it is hysterical but I don’t want to see it. God did a good work inside me. At work, I have been told I will receive access to the hospital computer system so I can discover for myself when international patients are admitted. Because I am in a unique position, they haven’t figured out how to allow me access even though the hospital director has approved it! Happy Thanksgiving to you all. I am so thankful for: being a nurse, God’s working in my life, having so many good friends such as you all, having a loving family who love me in spite of knowing me all too well, being called to be a vessel for the Lord, having a loving Thai daughter and family, my new Indian son, good health and strength, living in Thailand, all the conveniences such as hot water, showers, electricity, air conditioning, good clean food, a spirit which will never die, the ability to help some people in this world, God’s love which never fails, grace mercy and never ending kindness to me despite His knowing me even better than my family does, the promise of a future, hope, my two dogs and my 19 year old car.

Thank you for your prayers and support,

Thailand has been quiet since the death of the king.

The second week we learned more about petitioning in the courts of heaven and

overturning the verdicts of hell.

Because I am in a

unique position, they haven’t figured out how to allow me access even though the hospital director has approved it!
