TATTAFFECT, 2012

A group installation based on my initial design. The final product became an interactive stage set using the location’s day-lighting to create various intentional and unintentional “tattoo” effects in which the viewer and the building itself were performers.

Part of a research seminar continuing Stephen Turk’s work at the Knowlton School with the changing idea of performance in the architectural discipline.

TRAVEL SKETCHESBy drawing our world, we are forced to observe it more carefully, which leads to a better understanding of structures and places.

I taught architectural drawing and sketching on several study abroad travel programs for the Knowlton School.
