OPERATING INSTRUCTIONSNOTE: Engines controls shown may appear different.

Step 1 Check oil level. Oillevel should be level with thebo t tom o f the o i l fi l l e r neck . Be \ lsure the machine is level when <;checking the oil level. (Refer to s J,the engine's operating manualfor seasonal grades.) Werecommend that the oil bec h a n g e d a f t e r t h e fi r s t 5 h o u r s Lo f u s e , t h e n o n c e e v e r y 5 0 \h o u r s . x

Note: Improper oil levels will cause low oil sensor to shut off engine.

Step 2 Fill gas tankwith unleaded gasoline.Do not use leaded gasoline.

Step 5 (Briggs & Stratton)Turn fuel valve to "ON". Slidethe throttle control to thefast position. Move thechoke lever to the "CHOKE"position (only if the engineis cool). After starting, movethe choke to "RUN".

Step 5 (Kohler) Turn fuelvalve to "ON". Slide thethrottle control to the fastposition. Move the chokelever to the "CHOKE"position (only if the engineis cool). After starting, movethe choke to "RUN".

Important!Do not run the engine with a high or low oil level as this cancause engine damage.If you have further questions regarding the engine, please refer tothe engine's operating manual included with the unit.

Step 6 Pull the starterhandle. If the engine fails tostart after 3 pulls, squeezethe trigger gun to releasepressure, and repeat step.After the engine warms upenough to run smoothly,move choke to open positionand throttle to fast position.

SHUTTING DOWN & CLEAN-UP

WINTERIZING AND LONG-TERM STORAGE1. Disconnect all water connections.2. Turn on the machine for a few seconds,

until the remaining water exits.Turn off immediately.

3. Drain the gas and oil from the engine.4. Do not allow high pressure hose

to become kinked.

5. Store the machine and accessories ina room which does not reach freezingtemperatures.

Caution: Failure to follow the abovedirections will result in damage to thepump assembly and accessories.
