Dear Friends,

Through captivating concerts and vibrant community programs, the Kansas

City Symphony has become the region’s largest performing arts organization

and has made our city a world-class cultural destination. As Executive

Director, I am honored to lead this treasured Kansas City institution.

Our distinction as the area’s premier performing arts organization would not

be possible without the support of Kansas City’s business community, and I am

pleased to introduce to you the Kansas City Symphony Business Council. The

Kansas City Symphony Business Council is a network of more than 100 Kansas City

businesses that support the mission and music of the Symphony. Our Business

Council members receive a variety of exclusive benefits, such as marketing

recognition, business development and networking events with corporate leaders,

and unique client entertainment opportunities tailored to each business. Details

about Business Council membership benefits can be found in this brochure.

The impact of the Kansas City Symphony reaches far beyond the doors

of Helzberg Hall and the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts:

• Each year, the Symphony reaches more than 1 million people through concert

performances, television and radio broadcasts, and education programming.

• In the 2013-14 season, Symphony tickets were purchased by people from all

50 states and 8 foreign countries.

• The Symphony contributes significantly to the economic well-being of Kansas

City and is responsible for $19.5 million in economic activity in the region.

When you support the Kansas City Symphony, you actively improve the

quality of life enjoyed by residents and businesses in our community. A

vibrant arts culture attracts educated, highly-skilled professionals vital

to the growth of local businesses and corporations. Your investment

in our institution creates a valuable partnership that benefits your

organization, the Symphony and ultimately, the community at large.

I hope you will consider becoming a member of the Kansas City Symphony

Business Council and help us build a more dynamic and vibrant Kansas City.

Sincerely,

Frank Byrne | Executive Director, Kansas City Symphony

Welcome!
