Series 132000Introduction

Figure 1: 132000 Body Assembly

The new series 132000 control valve completes the range oflined valves within the FLOWSERVE corporation. Many yearsof experience in the manufacture of lined ball and plug valvesand the sophisticated experience of manufacturing excellentreproducible trims for linear valves are combined in this newproduct.

High quality lining materials such as PFA (standard), PVDF,PP, ETFE and FEP as well as PFA antistatic cover mostmediums and applications. The revolutionary PTFE bellowsdesign allows a standard pressure rating of PN 16. Theincreased flow capacity means that the most economicalvalve can be chosen for the application.

Liner materials High Quality liner materials PFA (standard), FEP, PVDF, PP, ETFE for mostcorrosive applications.

Liner thickness A minimum liner material thickness of 3,5 - 5 mm provides highest protectionfrom the medium.

Liner connection T-grooves ensure a positive mechanical connection between the liner materialand the valve body.

Bellows seal Standard PN 16 bellows seal manufactured from modified PTFE permituniversal valve applications.

Hastelloy plug and seat inserts Hastelloy C276 plug and seat inserts for small Kvs/Cv values. ReproducableKvs/Cv values and characteristics as well as large rangeability.

Face-to-Face DIN bodies PN 16, integral flanges, DIN face-to-face dimensionsDIN bodies with integral flanges drilled in accordance with ANSI Class 150.ANSI bodies with ANSI face-to-face dimentions and ANSI Class 150 flanges.

Safety Anti-blowout stem design for all sizes, optional test connection for bellows sealleak detection and safety packing ensure maximum safety

Table 1: Bellows Seal Details

The liner material, the seat and the bellows seal are the only partswhich are in contact with the medium. High quality lining materialssuch as PFA, (Perfluoroalkoxy resin) protect the metal parts of thevalve assembly. T-grooves provide an extremly positive connec-tion between the liner and the valve metal body, especiallyimportant in vacuum applications. Liner thickness is at least 5mm(3,5 mm liner thickness for DN 15 / 1/2” and DN 20 / 3/4”).

Standard PN 16 bellows seal manufactured from modifiedPTFE (TFM) for all applications.Extensive bellows life-cycle testing is based on extrem envi-ronmental conditions. All tests are performed at a tempera-ture of 120 °C and 16 bar pressure.

The optimised body design of the lined valve series 132000 allows Flowserve to offer one of the widest ranges of Kvs / Cv-valuesfor each individual valve size. This means that smaller valve sizes can be offered with larger Kvs / Cv-values ensuring economicaldimensioning. With more than 35 years experience in the manufacture of smallest Kvs / Cv-values Flowserve has gained a reputation as the„Small Flow Specialist“ with the ability to manufacture „reproducible“ trims.
